Nashville Sounds in the Round

Birmingham's premier country songwriter night 'Nashville Sounds In The Round' in partnership with B:Music! Hosted by multi award-winning Gasoline & Matches, artists are invited to tell the stories behind their songs in a Bluebird Café style ‘In The Round’ session, stripping the songs back to their origins and transporting the audience right back to the writing rooms.

Gasoline & Matches

Gasoline & Matches are a high energy, multi-award winning, dual fronted British band combining close harmonies, melodic guitar licks and serious musicianship. Fronted by Birmingham natives Sally Rea Morris and Stephen Marks, they are fierce entertainers known for their tongue-in-cheek and much-loved song "Never Have I Ever" described by Bob Harris as “Clever, funny, totally original…and it’s Country!” They built momentum after multiple spins on BBC Radio 2, and never fail to get festival goers on their feet to participate in the infamous drinking game which inspired the song. As resident hosts of Nashville Sounds in the Round, their Bluebird Cafe style songwriter round at Birmingham Symphony Hall, it’s clear to see their contribution & influence on Country and Americana music in the Midlands.

Joanna Eden

With six solo albums to her name, Joanna is widely regarded as one of the UK’s finest jazz-rooted singer/songwriters. Her distinctive style spans jazz, soul, bossa nova, and blues. Like her songwriting hero Joni Mitchell, Joanna’s personal and expressive lyrics reflect on life’s changes with honesty and warmth.

She's joined by Uruguayan bassist and co-writer Andrés Lafone so watch out for some lyrics in Spanish!

Kylie Price

Kylie Price is a Kiwi-Filipina singer-songwriter whose music strikes a powerful balance between vulnerability and strength. With a voice that cuts straight to the heart and lyrics rooted in personal truth, Kylie creates music that is emotionally rich, melodically memorable, and universally relatable.

She began her journey in her hometown of Dunedin, New Zealand, where her singles ‘Perfect’ and ‘Stay’ climbed to #6 and #5 on the Official New Zealand Music Charts. These early successes marked her as a rising star within the singer-songwriter scene and gave her a strong foundation as a storyteller and performer. Now based in London, Kylie has continued to grow her career with sold-out headline shows at iconic venues including the Green Note in Camden and FortyFive Vinyl Café in York. She has also appeared at international festivals such as The Great Escape, SXSW in Austin, Texas, and The British Country Music Festival, bringing her heartfelt music to new and diverse audiences. In addition to performing, Kylie has expanded into sync licensing, with a placement on Home & Away, and ongoing collaborations with producers and writers for screen. Her songwriting partners include Reese Szabo (The Good Doctor, ESPN, Coca Cola), Joshua Taylor (Paul Simon), and Ben Mark (The Script, Take That, Mark Owen), allowing her to further refine her craft across genres and formats. Kylie has also recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios—an experience that reflects both the calibre and ambition of her artistry.

She continues to develop her sound while building meaningful connections with audiences both in the UK and internationally.

Taynee Lord's storytelling songwriting gives you music for life's sunsets and highways.
