Sampad’s Midday Mantra series stands as a celebration of South Asian musical traditions, enriching cultural experiences for audiences. In collaboration with B:Music, this programme encapsulates classical, folk, and contemporary styles, creating a captivating blend of world-class performances. Renowned musicians showcase their talents, providing a dynamic platform for artistic expression and cultural exploration.
Headlining our Diwali Festival of Light Celebration will be Shin Parwana, who will be joined by Priti Kaur.
Renowned front-man of Bhangra band DCS, Shin Parwana performs a popular mix of Bollywood classics and Punjabi ghazals.
Interested in music from a young age, Shin learned to play the harmonium at the age of 12. His signature style has been influenced by the greats: Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and composer SD Burman.
Priti Kaur is an acclaimed Indian vocalist whose repertoire ranges from Bollywood, Bhangra, and Folk to this celebration.
