Join us for a rare and breathtaking evening as we present all three of Stravinsky's iconic ballets—Petruchka, The Firebird, and Rite of Spring—performed back-to-back for what we believe is the first time ever with dancers. While the music has been played, the extraordinary feat of bringing these ballets to life with dancers in succession is a remarkable achievement.
This celebration marks a decade of excellence from the Kimichi School, the area's first music specialist school, and features the outstanding KSO orchestra, comprised of many semi-professional musicians. While proudly under the Kimichi brand, KSO is a distinct and highly regarded ensemble, showcasing the incredible talent of community players who have received rave reviews.
Witness the thrill of live dance intertwined with masterful orchestration, creating an unforgettable visual and auditory feast. Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to see a performance that has only been attempted by legends like Sir Simon Rattle with the LSO. Be part of a historic celebration!
Conductor: Keith Slade
Leader: Julia Aberg
Choreographer: Cici Howells
