About Celtic Throne: Psalter of Ireland

Age  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+

Celtic Throne — Psalter of Ireland presents an epic story from the mysterious annals of ancient Ireland. This trailblazing new show, a fusion of Irish dance, music, theatre and cinema, traces the history of Ollav Fola, the sixth-century B.C. Irish sage and legislator commissioned to perpetuate the legacy of one the world’s greatest kings in the British Isles. Celtic Throne has taken the fancy footwork and formidable stomps audiences expect in Irish dance shows and fused it with sensational acrobatics and martial arts, innovative choreography, an elaborate set, dramatic lighting and special effects, and cinematic video storytelling to create something truly original. The score was written by award-winning composer and producer Brian Byrne (Heartbeat of Home).
