The Youth B:and Fest, taking place at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, aims to celebrate young and upcoming talent. We are looking for local bands to take the stage. Could this be you?

Venue: Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space, Symphony Hall, Birmingham

Date: 16 August

Time: 6pm to 8:30pm

Who are we looking for?

• Youth bands with members aged from 16-23
• All genres are welcome
• Passionate performers

What are we offering?

• The opportunity to perform in one of Birmingham’s most prestigious venues
• Showcase your music to a large audience
• Benefit from a professional set-up with top of the range sound and lighting
• Gain live performance experience and meet like-minded musicians

What are the requirements?

• All band members should be within the age range of 16-23
• All talent should have some live performance experience
• Material enough for a 20-minute performance slot
• Availability on the day of the event from 1pm to 8:30pm
• Parental consent for those under the age of 18 years old

The application process:

DEADLINE: Monday 29 July

We will be accepting a total of 5 bands. To apply for this opportunity we will need the following information:

• General information about your band
• A video or audio clip file of one song performed by your band
