B:Music Youth Board, our advisory board of local young people interested in the future of live music, are bringing local young people together in a celebration of local musical talent.
They're seeking bands with members aged 16-23 who play music across any genres to apply to be part of Youth B:andFest, an event organised by and for young people.
Bands will not only get the opportunity to perform in one of Birmingham’s most prestigious venues, but also meet other musicians and hear their music with the added benefit of a professional set up with top of the range sound and lighting.
All bands need to do to apply to be one of the five acts showcased is to submit a video clip and description of their music, and complete a short form by 19 July.
Youth B:andFest will take place on 16 August on the Jennifer Blackwell Stage at Symphony Hall.
