Mostly Jazz Festival returns in 2023 and once again B:Music have joined in partnership for this fantastic celebration of music in the heart of the West Midlands.

Showcasing unsigned acts right next to well-established international artists makes for a really exciting bill. A festival for all, having one of the most diverse festival crowds with plenty for you to discover.

An independently run festival, each year put on for the love of music, community and friendship, giving us all the chance to see acts in a much more idyllic and intimate setting.

Our Stage

B:Music’s stage at Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul festival has been a highlight of the talent development programme for over a decade.

Brand-new bands have been introduced to new audiences and Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul has provided an incredible first festival experience for the young musicians in B:and Together the B:Music Jazz and Gospel Ensembles.

A festival date at Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul is a dream for new bands. Many of the Birmingham musicians presented through the last 10 years have now become well-known touring and recording artists including Xhosa Cole, Young Pilgrims and Reuben James.

Gabriella Liandu

Gabriella Liandu is a Zambian-Scottish singer and creative, passionate about versatility and malleability of the voice. The Mezzo-Soprano takes her roots in performing within the Opera world.

Being raised in the Middle East, her strong cultural upbringing and eclectic background is reflected through her artistry and style as a writer and performer. Her experience covers a wide range of genres with repertoire expanding from Early Classical to Choral, Modern Jazz and more.
