B:and Together

Our Jazz and Gospel groups meet for fortnightly workshops at Symphony Hall with the city’s best industry professionals. They provide a great opportunity for participants to make music, forge friendships and develop their talents.

Groups get to perform regularly at a variety of events, with some participants taking to the stage at the Mostly Jazz Festival in July.

I've only been involved for a year but the opportunities I have been able to experience through ensemble playing and performance, have been truly unforgettable: B:and Together member

B:and Together, the B:Music young musical group took over our regular Free Jazz Friday for an amazing celebration of talent in May 2024.

These talented young people shared the stage with the groups from our school music programme and local emerging artists we're supporting.

What followed was a joyous showcase of the next generation of music makers.

Watch to find out how B:Music's education programmes support learning in, and out, of the classroom.
