Trustee – B:Music

Voluntary

B:Music is seeking new Trustees to join its Board and support the governance and direction of B:Music, the music charity that runs Symphony Hall and Town Hall in Birmingham.

We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Charity governance or finance
  • HR or legal
  • IT systems and digital
  • Sustainability and environment
  • Music industry knowledge

A little bit about the role of a Trustees - you will be part of a group that:

  • Ensures compliance with charity, company and regulatory requirements
  • Safeguards financial stability, including approval of the annual budget and major resource decisions
  • To advises on the strategic direction and organisational performance
  • Approves the Business Plan and support long-term sustainability
  • Ensures risks are identified, managed and reviewed
  • Provides guidance on new initiatives
  • Acts as ambassadors, enthusiastically promoting B:Music’s work and values
