Gift Of Music Appeal

Help give the gift of music to disadvantaged children and communities across Birmingham and the West Midlands this Christmas.

Launched in 2023, this year we are once again asking audiences to support our festive appeal. Every penny raised will support our mission to inspire a love of live music, by removing barriers to participation and opening a world of music to our city’s diverse communities.

Your donation will enable us to provide opportunities and experiences free of charge, to those who would otherwise be unable to access them. Could you help us...

  • Provide bursaries for young people to attend our B:and Together ensembles or annual Summer School
  • Give local families and communities the chance to experience live music at our free gigs
  • Support our vital work in schools in the most deprived areas of the city
  • Provide much needed respite for vulnerable and isolated adults

I thank God for the team at B:Music. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be here right now. I wouldn’t have had this opportunity.

B:Music Scholarship Recipient

The West Midlands has some of the most deprived communities in the UK, with some of the highest levels of child poverty anywhere in the country. For many across the region, taking part in music activities and attending live performances is simply unaffordable. By supporting our appeal, you can help us give the gift of music to as many people as possible and spread some much-needed joy this Christmas.

Last year our Gift of Music Appeal raised an amazing £20,700 and this year we are hoping that our audiences and supporters can once again help us raise a fantastic amount this Christmas.
