About Toscana Strings: Little Red Riding's H.O.O.D & Monkey Puzzle

Former soloist with Birmingham Royal Ballet Laura Tye and award-winning string quintet Toscana Strings perform two family favourite stories; Monkey Puzzle and a very special Little Red Riding's H.O.O.D.

Monkey Puzzle tells the tale of a little monkey is trying to find his mum with the help of a butterfly. This beautiful story by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler is told through music and dance with a little help from the audience. Each animal the monkey and butterfly meet is represented by a different dance style.

Can Rebecca Evelyn Dorothy compete in the Hideously Outrageous Over-the-top Dance competition when her former Hip-Hop dance champion Gran is ill in bed? A fun packed story performed by string quintet, dance and lots of opportunity for audience participation.

This performance is a perfect introduction to music and dance with an informal atmosphere and joining in encouraged, everyone can enjoy these stories set to music.
