Join us for an inspiring morning of connection and conversation as part of the She:Music programme, a platform dedicated to amplifying the stories of women across the music industry.

Panel

  • Piera Onacko - Piera is a pianist, synth player and composer with deep roots in jazz practices and an interest in improvisation through live electronics.
  • Unique - Singer / songwriter & guitarist Call Me Unique infuses the sounds of jazz, soul, futurebeats, and scat-singing.
  • Jade Sewell - Production Coordinator at B:Music, If you’re interested in a career as a Production Coordinator, Jade recommends that you be a sponge! Absorb every piece of information, be eager to learn more, and ask questions. Your attitude and commitment will shine through to the right people who will happily give you the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge.
  • Nina Mckendrick is a talented singer, songwriter and vocal producer. Completing her music technology degree at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire she a well rounded audio engineer with experience in recording and producing music in multiple genres including classical, jazz and pop.
  • Hosted by Elise Evans. Elise is a lively actress, presenter & choir leader from the West Midlands. After graduating from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2011, she spent two years as part of entertainment teams on cruise ships all over the world before diving back into the world of theatre and presenting. Since then Elise has worked extensively for live events and has been heard across many West Midlands radio stations including Capital, Heart, Free & BBC WM. Elise most recently hosted the Breakfast show on BBC Radio Wolverhampton; a pop up service set up for during the height of the pandemic.
