Recipient of over 20 international awards – Nitin Sawhney returns to Town Hall following the release of his brand-new album Identity which featured collaborations with Guy Garvey (Elbow), Joss Stone, Gary Lineker, I Am Rooze and many more. Nitin will be performing a selection of these newer tracks alongside favourites from his back catalogue.
Sawhney has recorded multiple albums, film soundtracks and compilations, encompassing over 70 film and TV scores and is established as a world-class producer, songwriter, touring artist, BBC Radio and club DJ, multi-instrumentalist, theatrical, dance, videogame and orchestral composer and cultural/political commentator. Holding 7 honorary doctorates from UK universities along with 3 fellowships, Nitin also sits on the boards of multiple charities and is a member of Oscars, BAFTA and Grammys.
