Overview
Nashville Sounds in the Round
Birmingham's premier country songwriter night 'Nashville Sounds In The Round' in partnership with B:Music! Hosted by multi award-winning Gasoline & Matches, artists are invited to tell the stories behind their songs in a Bluebird Café style ‘In The Round’ session, stripping the songs back to their origins and transporting the audience right back to the writing rooms.
Gasoline & Matches
Gasoline & Matches are a high energy, multi-award winning, dual fronted British band combining close harmonies, melodic guitar licks and serious musicianship. Fronted by Birmingham natives Sally Rea Morris and Stephen Marks, they are fierce entertainers known for their tongue-in-cheek and much-loved song "Never Have I Ever" described by Bob Harris as “Clever, funny, totally original…and it’s Country!” They built momentum after multiple spins on BBC Radio 2, and never fail to get festival goers on their feet to participate in the infamous drinking game which inspired the song. As resident hosts of Nashville Sounds in the Round, their Bluebird Cafe style songwriter round at Birmingham Symphony Hall, it’s clear to see their contribution & influence on Country and Americana music in the Midlands.
Jaywalkers
A beautifully performed take on Americana… a multi-layered sound that belies their trio status"
RnR Magazine. “Great Songs, inventive arrangements and tremendous 3-part harmonies” Country Music People
As those who have been fortunate enough to catch them in full flight will testify, a Jaywalkers show is an exhilarating experience. UK-based they may be but many from the other side of the Atlantic have complimented them on their particularly stylish delivery of this virtuosic brand of Americana. These three outstanding musicians have developed a tight bond, demonstrated through their well-crafted, tasteful arrangements and ability to bounce ideas around the stage. The combination of powerhouse bass, flame-fingered mandolin, blistering fiddle and three-part harmony pack a punch as fiery as Jay’s lead vocals and make a fuller sound than expected from an acoustic trio.
Jack Browning
Jack Browning is a London-born singer-songwriter and acclaimed painter blending country, folk, blues, and rock. His debut album Red Eye Radio (2023) earned praise for its raw storytelling from the likes of Whispering Bob Harris, Ben Tod, Holler, Whiskey Riff and American Songwriter. Jack has toured the UK, Europe, and US, sharing stages with Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Vincent Neil Emerson, Asleep At The Wheel, Willi Carlisle, and The White Buffalo, Kaitlin Butts and Noeline Hofmann at festivals like Red Rooster, Laurel Cove, Black Deer and Healing Appalachia. His second album Painted Skies (2026) explores love, loss, and family.
Jack also exhibits his visual art globally, with a sold-out debut solo show at Western Gallery in Austin in early 2025 preceding a landmark, sold-out showing at The Far West, curated by Mark Maggiori and Petecia LeFawnhawk and including Jeremy Lipking, Glenn Dean, and more.
Rhiannon Paige
Hailing from Bristol, Rhiannon Paige is a country-pop-rock powerhouse making serious waves in the UK country scene. She smashed it in The Road to Nashville competition, placing in the top 50 out of over 20,000 applicants, has been featured on BBC Introducing, and her songs are spinning on radio stations across the UK. She's rocked a sold-out headline show at Ron's Honky Tonk in London, played Oxted Festival 2024 alongside Ella Henderson, Sigala, and Harley Moon Kemp, opened for First Time Flyers at RoadHouse Unplugged, joined Kezia Gill on her Kezia Gill and Friends Tour, and even opened up for Jools Holland at Good Times Live. Rhiannon has also had the thrill of singing alongside Sam Ryder, further cementing her place as one of the most exciting rising voices in the scene. Her debut EP Playing Games dropped in 2023, celebrated with a packed-out launch party in Bristol. She followed it up with her own UK tour across York, Manchester, and Bristol, showcasing her music to growing crowds around the country. And if that wasn't enough, she also had the honour of singing the Australian National Anthem for 15,000 people at Ashton Gate Stadium before the Bristol Bears vs. Wallabies match in 2024. Online, Rhiannon is just as unstoppable. She's built a 19K+ strong TikTok following, with her cover of Holding Out for a Hero racking up a jaw-dropping 1.3 million views.
Georgia Nevada
NMG Americana Artist Of The Year nominee & multiple Country iTunes number 1 artist, Georgia Nevada, is shaking up the UK’s Country Rock scene with a sound as captivating on stage as it is on a record - which she aims to achieve with her highly anticipated debut album ‘BackFire’ (dropping in March 2026)!
Georgia’s joined chart-topping Blues Rock duo 'When Rivers Meet' on their 20-date UK-wide tour, featuring venues like Islington Assembly Hall, has toured with Britnee Kellogg ('The Road' with Keith Urban and Blake Shelton), garnered global radio play on stations like Planet Rock and Countryline and is always busy on the festival circuit, notably headlining the VIP Stage at Country Calling ‘25.
