Birmingham's premier country songwriter event Nashville Sounds In The Round in partnership with B:Music return to B:eats for a lunchtime Summer special! Artists are invited to tell the stories behind their songs in a Bluebird Café style ‘In The Round’ session, stripping the songs back to their origins and transporting the audience right back to the writing rooms, all within the intimate performance space in B:Eats Café.

Guy Surtees

Guy Surtees is not just a British Country music artist and songwriter; he's a musical storyteller with a voice that resonates with authenticity and a passion that shines through every performance. Hailing from the centre of England, Guy's rich tapestry of influences includes legends like Dwight Yoakam, Lady A, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Brett Young, and Sean McConnell. His musical prowess extends across multiple instruments, including guitar, bass, banjo, keyboards, and drums. Guy's journey through the UK Country scene has earned him recognition and respect from his peers, along with a devoted fanbase. His music is not about chasing fame or fortune; it's about sharing his soul-bearing story songs with the world, making his family and friends proud, and having a lot of fun along the way.

Leeanne Brumfitt

North West based, Country, Singer/Songwriter Leanne Brumfitt broke on to the country music scene a little over two years ago and With her Debut single Work of Art. She has just released here debut EP Lessons. With her down to earth personality, and her well talked about vocal range and tone, Leanne has been named ‘one to watch’ in the UK.

Ollie Hawkins

A rising UK Americana artist from rural North West England, blends rich storytelling with melodic hooks and a modern edge. Inspired by legends like Johnny Cash and Chris Stapleton, his songs evoke the detail and soul of writers like Townes Van Zandt. Known for his authenticity and charisma on stage, Ollie connects with audiences instantly. His debut single Take the Money and Run drops later in 2025, with more music on the way. With performances at The Long Road, Nashville’s Front Porch Fest, and upcoming slots across the UK, Ollie Hawkins is fast becoming one to watch.
