Age Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+
Running time This concert will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Let our incredible musicians surround you with sound.
As our CBSO Explores series continues, Tom Morris and Kazuki Yamada have joined forces to devise an experiment in acoustic surround sound.
From Gabrielli to Glass, the programme spans almost 400 years of music, exploring how composers have long been interested in the spatial relationship between an orchestra, and its audience. These concerts invite you into the heart of the orchestra, for an entirely unique experience.
Guided by Tom and Kazuki, you will have the chance to hear familiar music as you have never heard it before.
And we’d love to know what you think. So, stay for a drink after the performance, and share your experience with our brilliant players, Tom, Kazuki, and the CBSO team.
We’re hugely grateful for the generous support provided by Dunard Fund towards our CBSO Explores series.
Please note
You are invited to move around the orchestra throughout the performance. Limited unreserved seating will be available.
