She:Music

Now in its second year, She:Music is B:Music's Artist and Sound Engineer Development Programme.

She:Music is shaping the future of music and empowering women to carve out lasting careers in a field that’s long been disproportionately dominated by men.

She:Music is a talent and career development programme led by B:Music, designed to support femme-identifying musicians and aspiring sound engineers to thrive within the music industry.

The programme responds to the barriers women and gender-marginalised people continue to face in music, including unequal access to opportunities, underrepresentation in technical and leadership roles, financial insecurity and lack of professional support networks.

Year 2 of She:Music will provide a more tailored and intensive development experience for a cohort of 10 emerging artists/musicians/sound engineers

Participants will receive mentoring, training, networking opportunities, studio experience and live performance opportunities designed to support sustainable career progression.

Applications open Tuesday 16 June 2026
