In an Instagram post today, former Strictly champion Kevin Clifton has announced the "time has come to move on" from Strictly Come Dancing.
"Kevin from Grimsby", a nickname awarded to him by Sir Bruce Forsyth, has made it through to five finals on the BBC One show. In 2018 he won the Glitterball Trophy with his partner, Stacey Dooley.

Pre 2013 I used to watch every week. Now I look forward to returning to being a fan and cheering on my friends who keep dancing.
Next month, along with his Strictly star sister, the famous Clifton siblings will tour together for the very first time - visiting the world-renowned Symphony Hall on Wednesday 8 April.
Between them, Joanne and Kevin have numerous competitive Ballroom and Latin dance accolades including World Champion, British Champion, European Champion, and International Open titles.
