Strictly is a show that embodies all the things we love here at B: Music. Every year the show brings us all together for an amazing shared experience as we watch professional dancers and their celebrity partners embrace the the magic of dance. Strictly entertains and uplifts its audience every week through live performance which is a mission we are also passionate about at B: Music.

Anton and Erin: Showtime

From the ballroom to the judging panel, Anton Du Beke has been a professional on the show since its launch back in 2004. This series he is making his debut as a permanent judge on the show.

But not to worry - if you want to continue seeing Anton dance as well as judge, Anton & Erin: Showtime is coming to Symphony Hall on the 29 January, 2022!

Showtime is a glittering celebration that pays tribute to some of the world's greatest icons of entertainment as Anton & Erin present world class dance inspired by an array of classic performers including Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Charlie Chaplin, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Liza Minelli, Elton John and many more. With stunning costumes, fabulous live vocals, a high-energy West End dance ensemble and a sensational 23 piece orchestra.


Giovanni Pernice: This is me!

Another longstanding Strictly pro coming to Birmingham in 2022 is Giovanni Pernice.

Giovanni first burst onto British TV screens in the Autumn of 2015, finishing his inaugural year as joint runner up in the final with his celebrity partner Georgia May Foote. Born on the Italian island Sicily, Giovanni moved to Bologna at the age of 14 to train full time in dance. Specialising in Latin, he won many competitions, his greatest achievement being winning the Italian Championships in 2012. He first started competing as an adult in 2008, winning competitions all over Europe.

Now the showman is set to light up the stage, along with his cast of professional dancers with his production, This Is Me. With the Italian’s natural charm, combined with beautiful choreography perfectly complemented by a fabulous soundtrack, the show pays homage to the music and dances that have inspired Giovanni’s career, from a competition dancer to one of the biggest names on the hit BBC show. Kevin Clifton: Burn the Floor

We’re welcoming back past Strictly starts too, and winners no less! Born in Grimsby to former World Champion dancers, Kevin Clifton trained in Ballroom and Latin from a young age, going on to win numerous titles including, four-time British Latin Champion, as well as International Open titles across the world. On becoming a Strictly professional in 2013, Kevin reached the final four years in a row, before finally lifting the glitter ball trophy in 2018 with Stacey Dooley.

Kevin Clifton and the sensational worldwide Ballroom dance company Burn the Floor return to B: Music with a bang on the 22 January 2022! This fiery, energetic and revolutionary Ballroom production will, once again, set stages alight and show audiences why it is still the world's leading Ballroom show after more than two decades. A mix of eclectic music, jaw-dropping choreography and ground-breaking moves, this show has an abundance of infectious, rebellious energy and passion.


Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals

If you can’t get enough of Strictly’s fabulous choreography then Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals is a must see! This wonderful tour is returning to Symphony Hall on the 8 May 2022 and is directed by Jason Gilkison: Strictly’s Creative Director of Choreography. Gilkison is an Australian ballroom dance champion and choreographer. We can't wait to see his beautiful choreography live on our stage!


Here Come The Boys

The Strictly superstars don't stop there!

Here Come the Boys returns to Symphony Hall and never before has there been such an incredible amount of dance talent sharing one stage…The Kings of Dance return! Aljaž Škorjanec is joined by his former Strictly star Pasha Kovalev and Sicilian sensation and Strictly star Graziano di Prima. Joining the three handsome leads will be a cast of dancers including three internationally acclaimed female partners, a world champion beatboxer and a team of commercial street dancers. It will be one of the most talked about dance shows of 2022.


Burn The Floor: The Reunion

If you want even more of the Strictly talents we've mentioned such as Aljaž Škorjanec and Kevin Clifton then get ready for Burn the Floor: The Reunion!

Featuring some of the most celebrated alumni of Burn the Floor including Strictly Come Dancing’s Aljaž Škorjanec, Kevin Clifton, Janette Manrara, Karen Hauer, Dianne Buswell, Joanne Clifton, Luba Mushtuk, Kai Widdrington and Robin Windsor, plus more names to be announced.

Burn the Floor is a breathtaking blend of Latin and Ballroom dance first conceived as a special performance at Sir Elton John's 50th birthday celebration in 1997. Two years in creation, the show made its world premiere in the UK and took the globe by storm, including 9 months breaking box office records on Broadway and 2 seasons in the West End.
