Girl Grind UK CIC is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of 'She Don Did It!'
This extraordinary music business programme is back and better than ever, igniting the careers of 50 emerging music professionals who identify as ethnically diverse Women and Non-Binary individuals. Generously funded by the Youth Music Charity, 'She Don Did It!' supports 100 emerging music professionals as we approach the quarter century milestone. In partnership with the esteemed British Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) and ourselves at B:Music (Symphony Hall), this six-week incubator programme addresses gender and racial disparities within the UK Music Industry.
Led by industry luminaries, the programme offers five exhilarating courses: Songwriting and Performance with Misha B, Dance (In Music) with Romanah Zhane Buchanan, Radio and DJ with Cassandra Maria, Music Production with Eve Horne, and Music Business with Ameena Badley.
Through practical workshops, studio access, demo listening sessions, funding advice, and industry showcase gigs, 'She Don Did It!' empowers participants on their journey to success. The programme culminates with a spectacular performance showcase to a live audience of 10,000 in Centenary Square, as part of the Birmingham Festival 23, celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
With only 50 coveted positions available, the clock is ticking, and applications are pouring in faster than the beat of a chart-topping hit! Don't miss out on this life-changing opportunity to shape your future in the music industry.
