We're super excited to be back on the Mostly Jazz stages this July. Here's the artists you can expect to see from us this year!

Isla Wolfe

Isla Wolfe is an unsigned singer, songwriter and producer from Birmingham, UK. As an established songwriter, Isla has worked with various record labels such as Extreme Music, Audio Network and Ninja Tune to have her music featured in shows on Netflix, Disney+, Channel 4, CBS and MGM to name a few.

She has performed at prestigious venues such as Birmingham’s Symphony Hall and O2 Academy, as well as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.

Isla is set to release the first of a series of EP's with production duo Groove Machine in 2024!

Ashley Allen

Ashley Allen is a keyboardist, composer, producer and songwriter who currently resides in Birmingham UK.

His most notable performances include the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Opening for the Sky Sports World Badminton Tournament, BBC Maida Vale Live Lounge, BBC Radio 1 Introducing Artists programme, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Mostly Jazz Festival, Headline shows at Symphony Hall and The Hare and Hounds, Camden Assembly and Cadogan Hall.

“I always bring lots of artists from Birmingham with me. Just a kind of collaborative experience, really, of various artists. We tend to cover quite a lot of musical genres. We’ve got sounds from Jazz, funk to folk music to hip hop to all sorts really, even elements of garage.”

Our Gospel and Jazz workshops are a subsidised music making programme for 11-19 year olds. The amazing young musicians that have been learning with us performed at Mostly Jazz Fest last year and they're back!

Our Gospel and Jazz band will both be performing and we can't wait to hear what they've been learning on the big stage once again!
