Carers week: Wednesday 10th June 2026 | 10am - 3pm Symphony Hall
B:Music are once again joining forces with our longstanding partners at Forward Carers and Midland Mencap this summer to celebrate Carers Week 2026.
Carers Week is an annual national initiative to recognise the incredible contribution of unpaid Carers across our communities, and to offer much needed support and respite.
On Wednesday 10th June, Forward Carers are thrilled to bring Birmingham Carers Hub and partners together at Symphony Hall to celebrate the week, uniting unpaid Carers, community organisations, Statutory services and partners from across Birmingham. This event will recognise the vital role that unpaid Carers play in supporting family members, friends, and neighbours. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to connect, discover and feel valued, with a range of community stalls, information stands and live music. We are so looking forward to welcoming local carers and their families for an impactful and uplifting day.
As a charity, B:Music is passionate about supporting vulnerable and isolated communities and our extensive outreach programme provides opportunities for local young people and families. We are committed to breaking down barriers to participation and harnessing the power of music to improve wellbeing. Our activities including projects for people living with dementia, unpaid carers, local community groups and free to access performances

We are very proud to be supporting the brilliant work of the Birmingham Carers Hub and to be celebrating local carers in this way. Carers Week is always a highlight in our calendar of community outreach activities and I’m very much looking forward to the day this year.Rachel Cranny - Head of Development and Impact
