Neighbourhd and B:Music, the music charity responsible for Town Hall and Symphony Hall, are proud to present a brand new collaboration celebrating the immense talent in the West Midlands music scene.
A series of performances were recently recorded at Symphony Hall, a B:Music venue with Neighbourhd bringing together some of the best artists in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
An EP of the collected work will be released in July - in the meantime, you can get a sneak peak of some of the tracks on Thursdays at 7pm from the B:Music Facebook and YouTube channels.
Together B:Music and Neighbourhd are creating an environment in which artists can innovate, develop their craft and build a network within a generous and collaborative culture to the benefit of the Midlands music scene.

Thursday 17June: Madi Saskia
Picked up by Brownswood and Gilles Peterson’s Future Bubblers Programme Madi Saskia is a “young person with an old soul”. Madi's influential unique style can be described as socially conscious with an R’n’B twang and a floetryesque tone. She is a critical thinker who uses real life experiences to enhance her creativity.
Thursday 24 June: NeOne The Wonderer
NeOne is a Wolverhampton based musician dedicated to self-exploration through an electric fusion of musical genres, creating stories from rhythms and experimental beats.
Thursday 1st July: Afro Queen
Birmingham’s Afro Queen blends R&B, Soul and Hip-Hop with honesty and effortlessness, detailing life for a young woman dealing with the twists and turns of growing up in the inner city.
Thursday 8th July: Landel
Born and raised in Birmingham, Landel released his first single at the end of 2018 after working as a music video director for 2 years. Growing up on conscious hip-hop, his lyrics take inspiration from the US artist collectives like Dreamville & TDE, whilst artists like Byron Tiller & PartyNextDoor influenced his melodic sound.

Coming with a rich and eclectic blend of electro r&b and vintage orchestration, Darcy Holmes navigates modern relationships and ego with thoughtfulness and honesty. Holmes’ detailed approach to composition, from the underlying harmony to the timbres in each note, beckons for the listener’s full attention, promising character and depth.
