Music for Youth: National Festival 2024

Come and indulge in three days of vibrant live music! Experience the talents of up-and-coming young musicians across various genres including jazz, soul, funk, choirs, orchestras, and much more.

Everyone is welcome to join us! The festival is open to the public and will be held at Symphony Hall, Town Hall, and CBSO Centre, featuring a Fringe stage in Centenary Square.

Ticket price for all sessions is £12 (£10 Concessions) except for Friday and Saturday Night Showcase which is £14 (£12 Concessions)


Thursday 04 July: CBSO Centre

Session 1: Percussion Ensembles

Time: 10:15 to 12:45

An eclectic mix of performances by some of the most exciting young percussion ensembles in the UK. You can expect to hear music performed on a variety of pitched and unpitched percussion such as vibraphone, marimba, snare drums and a whole range of cymbals.

Session 2: World Folk and Roots
