About CBSO 2025/26 - Singalong: Brahms' German Requiem

Age  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+

Running time  This concert will last approximately 2 hours.

Brahms’ choral masterwork: A Requiem for humanity.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted”. Johannes Brahms wasn’t the religious type, but when his mother died he created one of the most heartfelt of all Requiems. Intended to console the living and filled with the warmest of melodies, it’s balm for the spirit – and a wonderful chance to sing live at Symphony Hall with the CBSO under the expert guidance of the world-famous chorus director, Simon Halsey.
