Community Spirit
Community Spirit
We’re recruiting for Community Spirit 2025!
Now in its 12th year, we’re looking for community choirs from across Birmingham and the West Midlands to join us for another run of our hugely successful mass singing project, Community Spirit.
What is Community Spirit?
Community Spirit is a B:Music project, delivered in partnership with our Associate Artists, Black Voices. The project offers local community choirs the opportunity to share repertoire and perform as a collective in a large-scale concert in Symphony Hall. Community Spirit aims to harness the power of music to celebrate the diversity of our city, enhance wellbeing, and forge new connections and friendships.
As well as providing opportunities to share in the unique joy and benefits of group singing, this year's project will also enable community choir leaders to develop new skills and help take their choirs to new heights through an exclusive professional development (CPD) session.
