B:Music Youth Board: B:attle of the Bands!

B:Music Youth Board is an advisory board of local young people interested in the future of live music and the preservation of arts culture in the West Midlands.

Bands will not only get the opportunity to perform in one of Birmingham's most prestigious venues and benefit from free promotion, but will also be able to meet other local talent. The winner will be awarded the ability to showcase their talent at their own solo gig, accompanied by professional sound and lighting.

B:attle of the bands will take place on the 24 February 2026 at Symphony Hall.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be from the West Midlands
• Be between ages 16-24
• Have 2 or more people in your band
• All genres welcome

The winner of our Battle of the B:ands competition will receive three incredible industry opportunities:

• Exclusive band photoshoot with a professional photographer
• A performance opportunity in a space at one of our venues
• A free recording session at a professional studio
