Symphony Hall is a cultural and creative hub within Birmingham, hosting a multitude of concerts and events year on year.

The Making an Entrance project is a major transformation of Symphony Hall’s public foyer areas. Since opening in 1991, Symphony Hall has been at Birmingham’s cultural heart and we have one mission: to inspire a love of live music, through performance, participation and learning. 

As significant cuts are made to music tuition in our region’s schools, and our funding from local government continues to decline, our financial resilience, relevance and commitment to inclusivity is more important than ever. We are now looking for investment from businesses keen to ensure growth from the creative economy.

As an economy that is worth £4 billion gross value added and accounts for 50,000 jobs across the Greater Birmingham and Solihull area, the creative economy is a key part of our growth plans, and the West Midlands Local Industrial Strategy, enriching the lives of the people that live, work and visit the region

Everyone is welcome at Town Hall and Symphony Hall, and we will do whatever we can to ensure that audiences have an enjoyable visit. Town Hall is equipped with an induction hearing loop and Symphony Hall is equipped with an infrared hearing enhancement system, which you can use in conjunction with a hearing aid or with earphones. 

For £10,000, we can install a hearing loop in the brand-new performance space. The benefit of a hearing loop is that it sends sound straight into the hearing aid when it is on the T-setting.  There is no need for any other equipment to be used. 


In addition to talent development of local artists, Town Hall Symphony Hall are also committed to talent development of people keen to enter the creative industry. 

For £20,000, you can sponsor an apprentice, beginning their career in the arts, for 12 months. Based at the world-renowned Symphony Hall, apprentices will gain high quality vocational training by learning on the job from some of the best skilled in the West Midlands. 


Across the building, the new public spaces at Symphony Hall will provide a multitude of new facilities for audiences to enjoy. 

Naming the facilities and spaces is a highly desirable opportunity for businesses to exploit branding opportunities and create goodwill with both their own customers and ours.

With seating booths starting from £5,000 through to sponsorship of our new Welcome Desk and City Café spaces at £50,000, we have a range of opportunities available at all levels.
