And in Rimsky-Korsakov’s oriental wonderland the beautiful Scheherazade spins tales of adventure, magic and (of course) love. It’s a sonic adventure beyond the imagination: under Kazuki Yamada, it’s never sounded more colourful, more sensuous or more thrillingly alive.
