Gasoline & Matches
Two-time British CMA ‘Duo of the Year’ and Birmingham Music Awards ‘Best Folk/Country Act’ Gasoline & Matches are a high energy, guitar driven duo, hailing from Birmingham. With cleverly constructed lyrics, close harmonies and melodic guitar licks, they are known for delivering sharp, energetic performances with playful humour and serious musicianship. Their debut single ‘Fool’s Gold’ reached No.1 in the UK iTunes Country Chart, gaining momentum when named amongst BBC Introducing's West Midlands Sounds of 2019. Touring the UK and transatlantic performances from LA to Nashville attracted international recognition landing several major global brand endorsements.
Yorkshire-based Jade Helliwell's life changed in 2017 when a video of her singing 'Hallelujah' with a busker on a night in Leeds went viral. It quickly amassed 23 million views across Facebook and YouTube, and her previously released EP ‘Forget the Night’ shot back into the UK charts, reaching #1 in the country charts and #8 in the official charts. Her single ‘Drive’ has amassed over 250k streams on Spotify, followed up by ‘Put It On You’, ‘Telephone’ and ‘Stay’. 2020 single ‘The Moment’ featured on Spotify’s New Music Nashville playlist and ‘Stormchaser’ featured on Spotify’s Wild Country playlist and has had over 250k streams.
Emerging as one of the most prominent artists from the UK country music scene, BCMA nominee Katy Hurt has won accolades such as the UK Country Music Spotlight Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Best EP of the Year and played major festivals such as Country 2 Country at the O2 Arena, Pilton Party on Glastonbury’s famed Pyramid Stage and the Isle of Wight festival. Katy spent time in Canada, which she considers her second home, writing and recording a host of songs including her latest single “Sounds Good In A Bar”, which went to Number 1 on the UK iTunes charts on the day of release. The track was produced by Juno Award-winning producer Murray Pulver (Doc Walker, The Bros. Landreth) and marks the first single from her debut album.
With nearly a million global streams, Hurt garnered the attention of Canadian-based music group, Johnson Talent Management (JTM) which recently led to the signing of a worldwide management deal.
