Gasoline & Matches
Two-time British CMA ‘Duo of the Year’ and Birmingham Music Awards ‘Best Folk/Country Act’ Gasoline & Matches are a high energy, guitar driven duo, hailing from Birmingham. With cleverly constructed lyrics, close harmonies and melodic guitar licks, they are known for delivering sharp, energetic performances with playful humour and serious musicianship. Their debut single ‘Fool’s Gold’ reached No.1 in the UK iTunes Country Chart, gaining momentum when named amongst BBC Introducing's West Midlands Sounds of 2019. Touring the UK and transatlantic performances from LA to Nashville attracted international recognition landing several major global brand endorsements.
Emma McGann is a British songwriter, independent trailblazer and award nominated artist who has earned recognition from fierce female forces in the industry, including Kyle Minogue, Nancy Sinatra and Beth Hart. Emma is a shining example of how to rock the boat as a self-made artist in the age of independence. Contagious pop-dusted melodies infused with brave, beautiful storytelling has always been McGann’s wheelhouse. From crafting anthemic guitar-led tracks that celebrate human imperfections to more delicate, melancholy songs that seep deep, her writing conveys a vibrant pop sensibility and charisma that is a refreshing flash of colour in a world of same old, same old.
Tennessee Twin are an acoustic duo from Cambridge, UK. Their songs, blending modern country, folk & Americana, are known for their lyrically honest and musically melodic songs that span the emotional spectrum, while their performances draw from a lifetime as live musicians. ‘When We Move’, (2021 single) featuring Sarah Jory received huge praise - ‘This song is stunning - it's a best of 2021 contender!!!’ (Voice Of A Woman). Their debut EP ‘Tips in A Jar’ (2019) went straight into the iTunes UK Country Chart at No.1. ‘It showcases the kind of storytelling prowess that has already earned Tennessee Twin international acclaim.’ (Gaz Williams, ‘Building Our Own Nashville’). Before ‘Tips In A Jar’, their 2018 song 'Wings of Red, White & Blue' won the British Airways/Nashville Music City song-writing competition, taking them to record in Nashville, Tennessee. Other single releases include: ‘Rewind’ (2021), ‘Every Story’ (2020) and ‘Two Heart Rendezvous’ (2019), all receiving universal praise and gaining airplay around the world. Performances include the prestigious British Country Music Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Country on the Coast & Nashville Calling. They’ve also appeared overseas including dates in Nashville, Denver, and Amsterdam.
Northern Irish singer songwriter and Americana/Roots artist Shea Rafferty is making quite the impression on the UK scene. Now residing in London, he has been in the studio recording his new album produced by Tim Prottey-Jones. With three new singles already released this year, most recently “You’ll Be There”, it’s safe to say Shea Rafferty is off to a stunning 2022, landing on RTE Radio 1’s Recommended list, earning high praise and bagging Cletus’ Track of the week on ARC Radio, turning the heads of many radio champions. “Creating quite a buzz… love it. So good!” Matt Spracklen (Absolute Country Radio).
