About Symphony Hall Carols

Salisbury Cathedral Choir

David Halls conductor

Thomas Trotter organ

Immerse yourself in a lunchtime concert of glorious Christmas music with the renowned Salisbury Cathedral Choir and Birmingham City Organist Thomas Trotter. Lasting around an hour, the choir will sing a wide selection of traditional carols and modern classics including Rutter, Willcocks and Roxanna Panufnik. And, of course, there’ll be a chance to raise the roof with a couple of audience carols too!

The choristers of Salisbury Cathedral maintain an unbroken tradition of church music at Salisbury, which stretches back nearly 800 years in the present cathedral and for a further 200 years before that in the cathedral at Old Sarum. As well as singing almost daily services at the Cathedral, the Choir regularly broadcasts, records, tours and gives concerts.
