Birmingham's premier country songwriter event 'Nashville Sounds In The Round' in partnership with B:Music presents a lunch hour end-of-summer special! Hosted by multi award-winning Gasoline & Matches, artists are invited to tell the stories behind their songs in a Bluebird Café style ‘In The Round’ session, stripping the songs back to their origins and transporting the audience right back to the writing rooms.
Dubbed "Kacey Musgraves meets London Grammar" by BBC6 Music and "Swansea's answer to Faith Hill". Eleri Infuses rock and pop into her country sound. Inspired by a US road trip at age 19 Eleri came back changed. Having visited musical hotbeds like Greensboro, North Carolina and Nashville, as well as the shining lights of Chicago and New York she draws influences from a host of artists combining traditional country music storytelling with catchy melodies.
Manchester born singer and songwriter, Neeve Zahra is captivating audiences with her unique voice and beautiful lyrics which are beyond her years. Neeve’s song ‘Love Me’ was entered into The Road to Nashville Songwriting competition and from 20,000+ entries made the top 10 and took her all the way to Nashville to perform at the famous Exit/Inn. Her debut EP ‘Country Kind of Love’ was released on 19th May 2023 with a launch party on the same day in her hometown. Watch out for Neeve.
Independent British country pop musician and singer/songwriter Emily Lockett has performed at major festivals such as Latitude Festival, The Black Deer Festival, 110 Above Festival, The British Country Music Festival, Foodies Festival and Manchester International Festival. She has been described as a mix of Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne! Emily’s original music has received praise from the likes of Maverick Music Magazine with her last 2 EP's being awarded 5 stars (out of 5) and 8 out of 10. She was also a semi-finalist in the 2022 The Liverpool International Song Contest (a.k.a.The Road to Nashville) songwriting competition with her track “Do You Wanna Go Out?” making the top 50 out of 20,305 song submissions.
