About Live at B:Eats: CBSO Ensemble

It's time for change. We're supporting emerging musicians from under-represented backgrounds to kick-start a career in the orchestral sector.

The CBSO Career Accelerator programme is an annual paid career development opportunity for early-career string musicians from under-represented backgrounds in the orchestral sector. The programme includes tailored training and development opportunities for the Career Accelerator Fellows to help develop the skills required of a 21st century orchestral musician.

The Career Accelerator programme is aimed at musicians from currently under-represented backgrounds in the orchestral world. This may include musicians from the Global Majority; Deaf, Disabled, or neurodivergent musicians; those from the LGBTQ+ community; those from marginalised genders; and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
