About Live at B:Eats: BIMM
Abi Hudson is a young independent R&B singer/songwriter. From a young age she always knew that singing was her passion. From singing in the church, experimenting with beats, doing her own covers, and performing at function events – this allowed her to explore who she was as an artist.
With just piano and his voice (and occasionally guitar), Jimmy brings a charismatic blend of Elton John, Queen and Ben Folds, with the grandeur and emotion of musical theatre. He has been writing songs with his band Swön since late 2019, but has many emotional ballads in him which are better expressed in a more intimate environment. Be prepared to laugh, weep, and feel abject exuberance.
Gemma Ballam is a 19-year-old musician from Scotland currently based in Birmingham, studying music performance. She has sung since a young age and performed since the age of 14. Vocally she is inspired by Ariana Grande and Amy Winehouse, whilst lyrically she is inspired by Lizzy McAlpine. Gemma is currently writing and recording for a future EP.
