About Incubator Sessions by B:Music & Poetry Co'Lab

Running time  Start: 7pm, Finish 10:30pm

Incubator Sessions are back for 2023. Over the next four months we invite you to come and experience exciting new sounds as musicians share their latest creations and test new music before its released, alongside our partners Poetry Co’Lab who bring you some of the regions most exciting poets from the region. This event is artist & audience interactive, meaning not only do we ask our musicians to co-create a new piece of music on the night but we also invite our audience to get involved by sharing their own poetry or jumping in on our energetic cypher. Whether you choose to sit back and enjoy or get involved everyone is welcome to share this warm creative space.

Echo Juliet

One of the most exciting live electronic music creators around, Echo Juliet dreamed of playing percussion on Later with Jools Holland. After years of classical training, instead she fell for the allure of electronic music. Owing a debt to Bonobo, Four Tet and Floating Points, her downtempo sound also has influences from garage, deep house, jazz and soul. She writes and performs using a Malletkat midi vibraphone. Her music takes you on a beautiful beat driven journey and is really something that should be experienced live.

Dalbir Singh

Dalbir known as TablaJedi is world renowned as one of the most respected Tabla players in the UK and following rigorous training in Indian Classical Music has become a sought after Tabla player in the world of popular music. He has toured globally with artists such as Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Ian Brown, Richard Ashcroft & Ocean Colour Scene and features in an innovative Asian Blues band with Stone Roses guitarist Aziz Ibrahim.
