About EBBF: European Youth Brass Band Competition

Christopher Bond Corineus

Simon Dobson A Brief Symphony of Time

Saturday morning will see leading groups from around the continent take part in the European Youth Brass Band Contest. Bands representing around ten countries will compete in Development and Premier sections, with vibrant works by Christopher Bond and Simon Dobson testing them along with works chosen by the bands themselves to display their talents to the max!

England’s representatives from Elland Silver Youth (Yorkshire), Youth Brass 2000 (Northampton) and defending Development Section champion, Wardle Academy Youth (Lancashire), will be joined by groups from Scotland, Wales, Norway, Switzerland and other leading European nations, in this vibrant event that has already laid the foundations for many successful musical careers and continues to underpin the sustainability of brass bands worldwide.
