About The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, Collingwood
The European Brass Band Festival’s stay in Birmingham kicks off with an inspiring mix of young talent and banding excellence. Great Britain’s brightest young brass and percussion players have teamed up with The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines, Collingwood, one of five Royal Marines Bands providing various musical ensembles for a wide range of performances. Supremely versatile, they perform around the world as well as providing support to UK Defence tasks.
This is your chance to enjoy some of the very best music for brass band whilst supporting the future of the genre.
Proceeds from the concert will go to the NYBBGB Bursary Fund and the Brass Band Heritage Trust for the development of skills and experience for young brass musicians
