In Diana Tishchenko, critics have discovered “a genuinely distinctive, individual voice”, praising her “beauty of tone,” and “astonishing maturity”. Solo engagements with leading European orchestras, a clutch of major international awards and a widely-acclaimed debut album in 2019, put her in the top rank of violinists to watch. This recital plays to all her strengths through Ravel’s intricate gypsy Tzigane, a striking new work by Portugese composer Vasco Mendonça and the many contrasts of Beethoven’s ‘Kreutzer’ sonata which gives both instruments a chance to shine.

Each musician embarks on an international concert tour of halls in the ECHO (European Concert Hall Organisation) network and B:Music venues Symphony Hall and Town Hall have been there since the series began in 1995.
